The Middlesbrough Half Marathon presented by Science in Sport, in support of the Great North Air Ambulance Service, returns for its third year — and it’s quickly becoming one of the North East’s standout road races.
The Middlesbrough Half Marathon is fast becoming a must‑run event on the regional calendar. This really is the half marathon you can’t afford to miss.
THE ROUTE
This fast and flat half marathon takes runners right into the heart of Middlesbrough, showcasing the very best of the town’s landmarks and community spirit. Starting in Centre Square, outside the Town Hall and the MIMA gallery, the fully road‑closed route heads out through the beautiful Albert Park before sweeping past the home of Middlesbrough FC at the Riverside Stadium.
